Most people know how to use solar water heaters because they are very easy to operate. However, they often don't know the different types available. Over time, many different types of solar water heaters and solar collectors have been introduced to the market. Therefore, people are often confused when choosing a solar water heater. Here, we would like to introduce you to two systems.
Direct Solar Water Heating System
The water is heated by vacuum tubes and then stored in the hot water storage tank, using the thermosiphon principle. However, after a period of time, the heat inside the vacuum tubes and water tank becomes stagnant, and the solar water heater requires maintenance if the water quality is not optimal.
A solar sunflower system consists of collectors, a hot water tank, and connecting pipes and an immersion heater, directly heating the water. The system incorporates magnesium heating elements to improve water quality and extend the lifespan of the hot water storage tank.
Indirect Solar Water Heating System
The water is heated inside the hot water tank itself. A coolant is used to partially heat the storage tank and the hot water between the collectors. The coolant is antifouling and antifreeze, therefore requiring no maintenance.
A solar sunflower system consists of collectors insulated with heat exchange pipes and an electrical connection between the backup tank and the hot water tank, providing direct water heating. Recomme
