(1) Electric heating cable

Electric heating cable is a commonly used antifreeze device for pipelines. It has the function of self-limiting temperature, that is, it can keep the body heat at a certain temperature and will not continue to rise. Generally, the maximum temperature is about 80 °C. During installation, the two wires of the electric heating cable are directly connected with the two-core power cord, but if the two are not well connected, it is prone to poor contact or power connection, which will seriously cause the electric heating cable to catch fire and burn. Therefore, in the selection of electric heating cables, it is best to choose electric heating cables that have been wired directly at the manufacturer, and try not to wire them on site.

The most common control of the electric heating cable is to directly insert the power cord plug of the electric heating cable into the socket, but in this way, the user needs to control the electric heating cable by himself. When the outdoor ambient temperature is lower than 0 ℃ for a long time , it is necessary to plug in the electric heating cable. When the outdoor ambient temperature is higher than 0 °C for a long time, the electric heating cable should be unplugged to prevent the electric heating cable from working at a high ambient temperature for a long time. In addition, it is controlled by the instrument of the solar water heater, and the power cord of the electric heating cable is directly connected to the instrument. When the temperature of the pipeline is low, the instrument will automatically start the electric heating cable to prevent freezing. When the temperature of the pipeline reaches the set temperature After that, the meter will automatically turn off the electric heating cable. In this way, no user operation is required, which is convenient and safe, and also saves electricity bills.


(2) Insulation pipe

Insulation pipes should be installed outside the solar water heater pipeline for pipeline insulation. Commonly used insulation pipes include foamed polyethylene insulation pipes and rubber-plastic insulation pipes. In the northern region, the wall thickness of the thermal insulation pipe should preferably not be less than 40mm, and the thermal insulation pipe itself should have good thermal insulation performance. In this way, with the use of the electric heating cable, the pipeline can be well insulated and ensure the normal use of the solar water heater in winter. . In addition, the outside of the insulation pipe should also be treated with anti-ultraviolet aging. Generally, aluminum foil tape can be used to prolong the service life of the insulation pipe.
